Here is a lightweight FPV system, camera and Tx together weigh 2.2 grams…..Package includes:

1) 520 TVL 1 gram camera

2) Extra camera lens for night flight

3) 5.8gHz 10mw Tx

4) 5.8gHz 8 ch. Rx

5) SMA PCB mount for 2dBi antenna (Rx)

6) 2dBi 5.8gHz antenna

Although it costs almost as much as the quad. Only a 10mW Tx, but for a small Quad like this, that would be sufficient for most missions.

The best way to go about it would be to skip the tradition transmitter setup,and just use a module.

although, if this quad can lift 22-25 grams, you could use a fatshark 100mw transmitter.

What i’m going to do is order this:

and power it off the main lipo pack using a 3.3V to 5V step up regulator such as this one:

http://www.linear.com/product/LTC3426#demoboards

and soldering a peice of wire to the RF module to act as an antenna (or use a CP antenna).

Then, a simple 3.3 or 5V camera is all that’s needed
