Here is a lightweight FPV system, camera and Tx together weigh 2.2 grams…..Package includes:
1) 520 TVL 1 gram camera 2) Extra camera lens for night flight 3) 5.8gHz 10mw Tx 4) 5.8gHz 8 ch. Rx 5) SMA PCB mount for 2dBi antenna (Rx) 6) 2dBi 5.8gHz antenna http://fpvhobby.com/96-8ghz-micro-combo-set.html Although it costs almost as much as the quad. Only a 10mW Tx, but for a small Quad like this, that would be sufficient for most missions. |
The best way to go about it would be to skip the tradition transmitter setup, and just use a module.
although, if this quad can lift 22-25 grams, you could use a fatshark 100mw transmitter. What i’m going to do is order this: http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/product.p…cat=249&page=1 and power it off the main lipo pack using a 3.3V to 5V step up regulator such as this one: http://www.linear.com/product/LTC3426#demoboards and soldering a peice of wire to the RF module to act as an antenna (or use a CP antenna). Then, a simple 3.3 or 5V camera is all that’s needed |
